The Three Wise Men or Three Kings of the Nativity Scene Part Three of Three

And here are the three wise men or kings of the nativity scene.  This whole set would be a lot of work, but it could become a family heirloom!

Nativity Scene Part One of Three

This is the first in a series that I am going to post in three parts because it is so big.  You can see the full scene in the photo and again at the bottom.  This is a huge project to take on, so I thought I'd start it now in case anyone wants to make this entire scene.

Illustrated Buttons and Alphabet

Even though these patterns were meant to be for tiny stitches on cross-stitched buttons, they could be used for large pieces.  I love the cottage scene.  And the alphabet is awesome!

Sunflower

Is anyone growing sunflowers in their garden this year?  Did you know that the flowers follow the sun during the day?  And are native to North America?  Celebrate summer and August with this awesome sunflower.

Christmas In July Santa's Workshop Christmas Stocking Number Seven

It's never too early to begin working on a special Christmas stocking that will become a family heirloom.  Back when these publications were popular, there was at least one pattern every year for a pieces like this where the entire face of the stocking is covered with a cross-stitched scene.

Morning Glories Pillow

Although this beautiful pattern was designed for a pillow, I imagine it could be modified to be a foot stool cover or the cover of an art journal or a piece to hang on the wall or...  And I think the colors of the flowers would be better defined with a color that had more of a contrast with the background color.

Grandparents Are A Gift

Grandparents are a gift to children, and it is true.  My grandmother is the one who taught me to cook, crochet, and embroider.  I still have some of the embroidery flosses I started out with.  Which has since grown into a collection of almost 500 threads.  Because sometimes you need that perfect matching shade...   This pattern is a compliment to the previous one of the schoolroom named "Teachers Are Special" on 5/18/19.

Three Variations For A Foxglove

Hello!  I haven't posted in a while because my fields of lavender are in full bloom and this time of year I am crazy busy harvesting lavender and weaving it into lavender filled wands as fast as I can until I run out in September.

So here are three variations on a beautiful foxglove.  The original has them as three separate pieces, but I imagine they would be awesome all done together.  And you could even use your own color scheme.

Musical Instruments

This is one of the patterns I have always wanted a reason to use.  I did learn to read music, played a little piano, clarinet, classical guitar, etc.  But never applied myself to them as much as my other studies.  Maybe someday I'll get to use this pattern.  What will you use it for?

Vintage Automobiles Set of Three Antique Autos

Here is a cool set of three vintage automobiles.  The men in my family loved vintage cars and race cars, so as a child, I went to a lot of car shows.  This pattern brings back fond memories.  Maybe you'll see some in a parade today.  Happy Fourth of July!

Three Dancing Bunnies Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, See No Evil

I love these three dancing bunnies!  They are at the top of one of my six foot cross stitched measuring charts.  It took me a minute when I first saw them, to get past the dancing to see that they are a bunny version of the "hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil" ancient quote.
