Tumbling Bunnies For Easter

It's almost Christmas and yesterday was the Winter Solstice, so as of today, the days will start getting longer!  Is it too soon to start a project for Easter?  Or the Spring Equinox on March 20th when the days a nights are of equal length?  Easter this year will be on April 12th, plenty of time!

These tumbling bunnies make me happy!

A Golden Poppy Welcome

Something warm and bright for a winters day!  Golden California poppies.
This pattern was designed to be customizable so it comes with an alphabet so you can make napkins, place-mats, etc with your family name or initials on them.

Sleep Baby Sleep Poem with Birth Announcement

This pattern would be wonderful on any nursery wall.  And the alphabet is so beautiful, it is worth the pattern itself.

When The Going Gets Tough

When the going gets tough, the tough go shopping!
I hear so many people complain about the stress of the holidays and having to buy gifts.  But although in general, I hate shopping and am one of those who dash in, get what I want, and get out.  I do love to shop for gifts!  That is the only time I really enjoy wandering around looking at things and deciding who would like what.
The trick is, space it out of over the year and have it all done before the first of December!  Then you can relax and enjoy this time of year.

Christmas Stockings First Set 1985

This set of Christmas stockings were the first two in a series of incredibly detailed Christmas stockings, most of which I've already posted.  You can search this blog via the search feature to get all of them together.  This one features one of my most favorite motifs, rocking horses!

And here is the sweet third Rag Doll in the set of three.  Opps, apparently I was mistaken and she is the first in the set of three!  With the lamb from which the means to do needlework was begun.  That is besides silk and cotton.

Three Cats and Three Quilts Cat One of Three

This is the first in the set of three.  The second in the set was posted yesterday.  This one is an Amish Quilt, a Shaker basket, and a Tuxedo cat.  I've heard that Tuxedo cats, or black and white cats are very talkative and I must believe it is true because my neighbors black and white cat named "Oreo" talks non-stop!
